I Love Where I Live

Amy with Renee Winkler at Samford Hill

I’m touring Samford Hill townhomes with interior designer Renee Winkler to talk timeless, moody kitchen design and the details buyers are loving right now.

Follow Along with Amy

From real estate to local life, I’m always sharing what’s happening in Auburn. Let’s connect so you never miss what’s new around town!

I recently toured the Samford Hill townhomes with interior designer Renee Winkler, and if you love spaces that feel both dramatic and timeless, you’re going to love this one.

Moody Neutrals That Feel Timeless

The goal for these homes was to create a look that feels elevated but flexible. The moody neutral palette allows buyers to bring in their own furniture and fabrics while still keeping the design cohesive and sophisticated.

A Kitchen Designed to Anchor the Home

The kitchen sets the tone for the entire space. From rich color choices to clean lines, it feels dramatic without being overwhelming. This is the kind of kitchen that photographs beautifully and lives even better.

Statement Marble and Vanity Lighting

One of my favorite details is the marble sink with fluted edges and natural stone variation. In the bathroom, lighting does double duty, functioning as a vanity light when space does not allow for side sconces. It is clean, intentional, and very current.

Samford Hill Availability

At the time of this writing, January 2026, there are only three homes remaining at Samford Hill. If you love design forward spaces that feel warm, timeless, and thoughtfully executed, this is a development you need to see in person.

This property is represented by me, Amy Barton Cotney, REALTOR® with ROOTS Real Estate Investment + Development. Reach out to schedule a private tour or learn more about available homes.

Moody, timeless design that lets the architecture and materials speak for themselves.
