Toomer’s Drugs has been an Auburn tradition since 1896, making it one of the most ICONIC landmarks in town. Located at the historic Toomer’s Corner, this beloved spot is more than just a pharmacy—it’s a place filled with history, nostalgia, and, of course, world-famous lemonade.
The World-Famous Toomer’s Lemonade
If you haven’t tried Toomer’s Lemonade, are you even an Auburn fan? This isn’t just any lemonade—it’s a must-have. The perfect balance of sweet and tangy, this refreshing drink has been drawing crowds for decades.
Want a gallon? You can buy one! But get your credit card out because it’ll cost you $20 per gallon. And do people buy it? YES. ALL. DAY. LONG.
Game Day Nostalgia
Call me sentimental, but one of my FAVORITE game day scenes is seeing parents standing in line with their young children, telling them how they used to go to Toomer’s in college for lunch and lemonade. It’s the sweetest thing because it’s more than just a drink—it’s a TRADITION. And Auburn? Auburn is FULL of traditions.
Next time you’re in Auburn, don’t just walk past Toomer’s—stop in, grab a lemonade, and soak in a little piece of history.
